The purpose of this scheme is to provide up to 50 percent assistance to farmers for the purchase of nano-fertilizers in the current financial year.

Anniversary of the Ministry of Cooperation

According to the official statement, Amit Shah will launch the central government's scheme 'AGR-2' from Gandhinagar, Gujarat on July 6. He will attend the program related to the 102nd International Cooperative Day here. The third foundation day of the Union Ministry of Cooperation is also on this day.

During this program, Amit Shah will make payment of assistance amount to the farmers under the scheme. At the same time, he will also launch 'Bharat Organic Wheat Flour' made by National Cooperative Organics Limited. The Union Minister will also participate in other programs related to cooperatives in Banaskantha and Panchmahal districts.

Benefits to farmers in 413 districts

The United Nations General Assembly has recently declared the year 2025 as the International Year of Cooperatives. Therefore, the government is paying special attention to the promotion of nano-fertilizers manufactured by India's cooperative fertilizer companies. A 100-day action plan has been prepared to promote nano-fertilizers. As a part of this, the government aims to complete 1,270 demonstrations of Nano DAP (liquid) in 413 districts and 200 trials of Nano Urea Plus (liquid) in 100 districts. This initiative is expected to promote environmentally friendly farming methods and reduce the use of chemical fertilizers in the agricultural sector.
