According to railway officials, train number 12002 running between New Delhi to Rani Kamlapati railway station left Bina station at around 12:35 pm. At some distance, suddenly the fire alarm sounded in the C-6 coach of the train. The loco pilot and the train guard stopped the train after discussing. When the safety staff present in the train checked into the C-6 coach, it was found that a rat had entered the alarm system. The safety staff took out the rat and allowed the train to run. According to railway officials, the train stopped at around 12:35 and was sent to the destination after five minutes. However, during this time a rumor spread in the train that the fire had started due to short circuit in the train. During this many people came out of the train, but soon the passengers came to know that the coach was rumored to have caught fire.

DeputySS, Bina SK Jain told that there is a rumor of spark coming out of Shatabdi Express. In fact, a rat had entered the fire system, triggering the fire alarm. After taking out the rat, the train was dispatched five minutes later.
