Expressing happiness over this, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has shared the first glimpse of the leopard coming from Namibia to the Kuno Sanctuary on his Twitter account.

CM Shivraj wrote on his official Twitter handle, 'I am feeling immense pleasure seeing the first glimpse of the cheetah coming from Namibia to Kuno Sanctuary. We all the people of Madhya Pradesh are ready to welcome this new guest. He further wrote, 'I consider it extremely fortunate that Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji does not celebrate his birthday, but on the day he was born, he will be on the soil of Madhya Pradesh. What will be bigger and more fortunate than this for Madhya Pradesh? On that day also he is giving a historical gift "cheetah" to Madhya Pradesh. I see that not only the whole country, but the whole world is watching that cheetahs are being taken from one continent to another. The atmosphere all around is different and wonderful.

The Indian team has reached to bring them. Earlier, the first glimpse of Indian cheetahs coming to India has been seen. Cheetahs coming to India are seen in a Namibian dry forest after a medical checkup. Eight cheetahs are coming to India from Namibia. These cheetahs will reach India on 17 September. Indian cargo plane will reach Gwalior Airport carrying them. After this, it will be brought to Kuno National Park via chopper.
