Sensex Top10 / Good days are back for Tata and Ambani, they made profits in the roar of the market

Last week, the market capitalization of 9 of the 10 most valuable Sensex companies increased by a total of Rs 3.06 lakh crore. ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel were the biggest gainers. The BSE Sensex rose 4.16% and the NSE Nifty rose 4.25%, while ITC suffered losses.

Sensex Top10: Last week, the Indian stock market witnessed a tremendous rise, due to which the market capitalization of nine of the top 10 most valuable companies of the Sensex collectively increased by Rs 3,06,243.74 crore. During this period, ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel benefited the most.

Strong rise in the stock market

The 30-share Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) closed with a gain of 3,076.6 points or 4.16 percent during the week. At the same time, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was successful in giving great profits to the investors by climbing 953.2 points or 4.25 percent.

ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel benefited the most

This week, the market capitalization of ICICI Bank increased by Rs 64,426.27 crore to Rs 9,47,628.46 crore, making it the biggest gainer of the week. Bharti Airtel also performed well, with its total market value increasing by Rs 53,286.17 crore to Rs 9,84,354.44 crore.

HDFC Bank, Reliance and Bajaj Finance also jumped

HDFC Bank's market cap jumped by Rs 49,105.12 crore to Rs 13,54,275.11 crore. Reliance Industries' market valuation increased by Rs 39,311.54 crore to Rs 17,27,339.74 crore, keeping it at the top of the list. Bajaj Finance investors also made good gains, and the company's market capitalization increased by Rs 30,953.71 crore to Rs 5,52,846.18 crore.

Performance of other companies

  • Tata Consultancy Services (TCS): Increased by Rs 24,259.28 crore to Rs 12,95,058.25 crore.
  • State Bank of India (SBI): Increased by Rs 22,534.67 crore to Rs 6,72,023.89 crore.
  • Hindustan Unilever (HUL): Increased by Rs 16,823.08 crore to Rs 5,28,058.89 crore.
  • Infosys: Added Rs 5,543.9 crore, taking its market valuation to Rs 6,61,364.38 crore.
ITC suffers losses

Despite this massive rally, ITC suffered a setback. Its market capitalisation declined by Rs 7,570.64 crore to Rs 5,07,796.04 crore. This was the only major company that suffered losses in the market this week.

No change in the list of top 10 companies

Reliance Industries remained at the first position in terms of market capitalization. After that, HDFC Bank, TCS, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Hindustan Unilever and ITC maintained their positions in the top 10.

Market trend of the coming week

According to experts, the direction of the market in the coming week will be decided by global developments, US Federal Reserve policy, activities of foreign investors and domestic economic data. In the week starting from March 24, investors will have to keep an eye on updates related to global markets.
