Central Government (Central Government) came from Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan and Indian citizenship from non-Muslims (non-muslims) such as Hindu, Sikh, Jain and Buddhists living in 13 districts of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Haryana and Punjab Apply for application. Union Home Ministry (MHA) issued a notification of this effect for immediate implementation of order under the rules made under the law under the law in 1955 and 2009. However, the government has not yet been prepared for the rules under the modified citizenship law (CAA) implemented in 2019.

In 2019, when the CAA has been implemented, there were wide protests in different parts of the country and there were riots in Delhi at the beginning of 2020 among these protests. According to Citizenship Amendment Law (CAA), such minorities will be provided citizenship to non-Muslims who had come to India till December 31, 2014.

What does the Home Ministry's Notification

In the notification of the Home Ministry, it has been said, "Using the powers under Section 16 of Citizenship Law 1955, the Central Government has taken this step under section five of the law. Under this, the minority community of Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan living in the above states and districts has been instructed to register Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi and Christian people as a Indian citizen. "
