Maharashtra Election 2024: Famous Bollywood actor and former MP Govinda took part in the campaign of Mahayuti held in Pachora in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra. A grand event was organized to welcome him, and he did a road show in support of Mahayuti candidate Kishore Patil. But during the road show, Govinda's health deteriorated, due to which he had to return to Mumbai leaving the program incomplete.

Campaign stopped due to chest and leg pain

During the road show, Govinda suddenly complained of chest and leg pain. He apologized to the organizers and the public and said,

"I am grateful to the people here, who gave me so much love. But my health is not well, and I do not want to take any risk. So I am ending this tour here and returning to Mumbai."

Campaigning after joining Shiv Sena

A few days ago, Govinda joined Eknath Shinde's party Shiv Sena. He is campaigning for the candidates of Mahayuti (NDA) in the Maharashtra elections. On this occasion, he praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and said that under their leadership Maharashtra and the country are moving ahead on the path of progress.

He appealed to the public to send Kishor Patil to the assembly by winning with a huge number of votes. Govinda said,

"Prime Minister Modi and Eknath Shinde have given Maharashtra recognition on the global map. I am confident that Kishor Patil's victory will ensure the success of the Mahayuti."
