After the partnership between Gill and Sudarshan broke, Jos Butler came to the field and along with Gill scored runs quickly. Butler scored 41 runs with the help of 8 fours in 23 balls. In the end, Shahrukh Khan hit a six to take Gujarat to a score of 198/3.

Strong performance of bowlers, defeated KKR

Chasing the target of 199 runs, Kolkata's start was shaky. The team came under pressure due to the early wickets falling quickly. Captain Ajinkya Rahane definitely struggled and scored 50 runs in 36 balls, but he could not get any big partnership from the other end.
