Disappeared from the radar shortly after takeoff

Russia's state news agency gave information about the incident and said that the Mi-8T helicopter operated by the Vityaz-Aero airline lost contact after taking off at 7.15 am. According to emergency services, the Mi-8T helicopter disappeared from the radar shortly after takeoff, although the crew did not report any problems before losing contact. There were 19 passengers and three crew members on board the helicopter. Media reports also suggest that low visibility was recorded by the Kamchatka Hydrometeorological Center in the area of ​​Nikolaevka Airport, where contact with the helicopter was lost.

Plane sent to search for helicopter
