Anil Mittal, Additional Public Relations Officer of Delhi Police said that those who create riots on the day of Holi will not be spared at all. He said that people should follow the traffic rules. Teams of Delhi Traffic Police will be deployed at major intersections and routes to ensure that traffic rules are followed.

Additional forces will also be launched on the streets to stop the rioters. Special care will be taken for the safety of women. In addition to the police station, additional police force will be deployed at sensitive places. Tight security arrangements have been made in these areas. According to senior police officers of Delhi Police, Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana himself will come to the streets to take stock of the security arrangements.

If there is a festival of Holi in the day on Friday, then the festival of Shab-e-Barat will be made in the night. In view of this, instructions have been given from the police headquarters to the police of all the districts to be on high alert. Friday is going to be a troubled day for the traffic police as well. While during the day, arrests will be made to nab the drunken drivers, while at night it has to be seen that the group of bikers do not break the traffic rules.

Apart from this, Delhi Police will be stationed at various places to nab the rioters. As both the festivals are on the same day, senior police officers are holding meetings with members of peace committees and prominent people of all communities at district and police stations.
