Bhopal. In the second wave of corona in the state, the graph of positive patients is increasing rapidly. In such a situation, the School Education Department has decided not to open schools from the first to the eighth grade. In its review meeting, the Home Department has identified the seven most infected districts of the state. These districts are Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Betul, Chhindwara Khargone and Ratlam. Instructions have been issued to all collectors to keep schools and colleges closed from first to eighth from April 15 in these districts. Orders have been issued to stop academic work in schools in these 7 districts along with schools.With the increase in the number of positive cases of Corona in the state, CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan had instructed to close schools and colleges in classes I to XII till March 31, 10 days ago. While the School Education Department has issued orders for not opening schools from first to eighth of the new education session, the Home Department in its review meeting has issued orders not to open schools from ninth to twelfth and college till April 15. Students will continue to study through online classes. At present, no instructions have been issued regarding examinations of class 9th and class XII and board exams.
While the decision to not open schools and colleges is being taken in Madhya Pradesh amid the growing transition of Corona, the final exams of 9th and 11th are starting offline from April 12. Pre-board examinations of class X and XII are also almost ready to take offline from April 12. Currently no order has been issued for not taking examinations
