The young man befriended an unknown girl through social media. The girl sent a link to the accused asking him to make a video call on him. After this, three obscene videos of the young man were made within a minute. Later on the basis of these videos started blackmailing the youth. After recovering Rs 4.54 lakh from the youth, the accused started demanding more money. Distraught, the young man complained about the matter to the police. After investigation, the East District Cyber ​​Police Station has registered a case. Police is trying to reach the accused with the help of technical surveillance.

According to the police, the victim Salman (40) lives with the family in Mayur Vihar area. He has his own business. Recently, Salman had a friendship with a young woman through a social media platform. On February 25, the girl sent a video link to Salman. Salman was asked to make a video call through the link. At first Salman refused, but the girl went to the bathroom and asked to call. Salman fell for her.

Asked to do obscene act by making video call

He told that the girl asked Salman to make a video call while doing obscene acts. Salman did this. After this, on February 28, Salman got a call from a person named Vikram Rathod. She asked Salman to talk to her by giving someone Rahul's number. When Salman called Rahul, he said that he has three obscene videos of him. Apart from uploading them on YouTube, apart from Facebook, he will also send them to his friends. The accused in turn demanded Rs 21,600 for each video. Salman gave Rs 64,800.

Salman told that a few days after sending the money to Rahul, Salman got a call from someone named Vijay Patil. The caller introduced himself as a CBI officer. He told that the girl was very desperate after the video. He is admitted in the hospital. The accused started talking about taking action against Salman. The accused demanded 1.20 lakh from him to settle the matter.

According to Salman, he was forced to give Rs. After this, a demand of four lakhs was made from Salman threatening to leak the video to the media again. Somehow Salman arranged 2.70 lakh and gave it to the accused. Even after this, when the accused started demanding money continuously, Salman found the matter suspicious. He informed the matter to the police. Police has now registered a case after investigation.
