In IPL Phase-2, the second match of the day was played between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings on Saturday, which RR won by 7 wickets by showing a brilliant game. In the match, CSK had set a target of 190 runs in front of the Royals, but this huge target proved to be a sown in front of the innings of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dubey. RR won the match 15 balls first. In the team's victory, Dubey scored an unbeaten 64 off 42 balls and Jaiswal also scored 50 runs in 21 balls.Apart from Chennai and Delhi, the suspense still remains on who will be the other two teams for the playoffs. With today's win, Rajasthan have moved up to the sixth position in the points table with 10 points and the team still has a chance of making it to the playoffs. Apart from RR, KKR, PBKS and Mumbai Indians are also present in this race.Royals were aggressive from the beginningChasing the target, RR got off to a strong start. Evin Lewis and Yashasvi Jaiswal added 77 runs off 32 balls. This partnership was broken by KM Asif by dismissing Lewis (27). In the very next over, Shardul Thakur gave another blow to RR by sending explosive batting Yashasvi Jaiswal (50) to the pavilion.
Gaikwad and Jadeja batted brilliantly and added 55 not out off 22 balls for the 5th wicket. Jadeja also made an unbeaten 32 off 15 balls while batting stormy. Chennai scored 189/4 in 20 overs.
