UNGA Session: In the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), India's Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has made a historic attack on the United Nations including Canada. S Jaishankar was indirectly referring to America, which had allegedly provided intelligence to Canada after the killing of Sikh separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. That means, in a way, India has warned the United Nations that if they impose an agenda as per political convenience, it will not work and it will also be challenged. He said, “Once we all put our minds to this, a fair, equal and democratic system will definitely emerge.India's aspiration to become a leader is not for self-improvement, but to take global responsibility.Explaining to the world the purpose of India's aspiration to become a leader, which has made its strong presence felt on the world stage as a rapidly emerging power, Jaishankar said, 'When we move forward with the aspiration of becoming a leading power, then This is not self-improvement, but taking more responsibility and contribution.'' The Foreign Minister said that the world is going through a period of extraordinary turmoil. At such a time, India assumed the presidency of G20, this is a sense of extraordinary responsibility.
