Indian Navy: India has taken another big leap towards self-reliance in the defense sector. India has succeeded in making the world's most powerful non-nuclear bomb. Nagpur's Economic Explosives Limited has developed three new explosive formulations. These will increase the lethality and explosive effect which will prove to be a game changer for our armed forces. Let us know some special things about this success. This formulation has been prepared with the guidance and cooperation of DGNAI of the Indian Navy.

SEBEX-2 with a capacity of 2.01 TNT

SEBEX 2 is a new explosive formulation. It is being told that this formulation produces a much more powerful explosion than any solid explosive currently available. For information, let us tell you that the performance of any explosive is measured by TNT. The more the power of TNT, the bigger the explosion.

The conventional explosives currently available, Dentex/Torpex, which are used in conventional weapons, aerial bombs and many other ammunitions, have a TNT potential of 1.25-1.30. HEMEX is used to fill the Brahmos warhead, which has a TNT potential of 1.50. Economic Explosives Limited is trying to increase the TNT potential to 2.3 in the coming 6 months.

2. ThermobaricPolymer-BondedExplosive- SITBEX-1

Solid thermobaric explosives are also known as rich fuel explosives. These explosives are designed to cause more destruction than conventional explosives. Conventional explosives focus on a single powerful blast. But solid thermobaric explosives produce heavy heat with a long blast duration.

3. New Intensive Explosive Formulation- SIMEX-4

Economic Explosives Limited has also developed a new Intensive Explosive Formulation for use in naval weapons named SIMEX-4. This explosive has been measured according to shock sensitivity and critical diameter.
