Agni-4 Ballistic missile / India successfully tests intermediate Range Agni 4 Ballistic missile from APJ Abdul Kalam Island

India has successfully test-fired an intermediate range ballistic missile Agni-4. This launch has been done from Abul Kalam Island in Odisha. According to the Defense Ministry, the missile has successfully achieved all the parameters during launch and this test will strengthen India's military capabilities.

According to the Defense Ministry, the missile has successfully achieved all the parameters during launch and this test will strengthen India's military capabilities.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, this test is part of routine training and clears India's policy of credible minimum deterrence. According to the information, Agni-4 missile is capable of hitting targets up to 4000 km and it can also carry nuclear warheads.

Earlier, India has also successfully test-fired the Agni-5 surface-to-surface ballistic missile. Its range is 5000 km.
