India won the first medal of the day in shooting. The second medal was won in Men's Doubles Lightweight Scull. With these two medals, India has also written its name in the medal tally. India won silver in shooting in the women's 10 meter air rifle event. The second silver medal was won in the skull, where Indian men won in the lightweight category.

India won its first medal in shooting

India's medal tally opened with shooting in the Asian Games 2023. Here India's Ramita, Mehuli and Aashi together won the silver medal in the women's 10 meter air rifle event. All three together scored 1886 points, in which Ramita scored 631.9 points. Mehuli scored 630.8 while Aashi scored 623.3 points.

India won second medal in doubles scull

It was only a short time after winning the silver medal in shooting that India got another opportunity to celebrate in the doubles sculls. Here, in the men's lightweight category, India's Arjun Singh and Jat Singh won the silver medal with a time of 6:28:18. The gold medal of this event went to China.
