There were violent protests against the scheme in many parts of the country. Now after receiving so many applications, the question is being raised that what was the effect of its protest.Announcement of several steps like preference for AgniveersThe government on June 16 had increased the upper age limit for recruitment under this scheme from 21 to 23 years for the year 2022. Also, later on his retirement, several steps were announced like preference for him in central paramilitary forces and public sector defense undertakings.Priority also in joining state police forcesSeveral BJP-ruled states also announced that Agnivars would be given priority in joining the state police forces. The armed forces, however, have made it clear that violent protests and arsonists against the new recruitment scheme will not be included in the recruitment process.
