IND vs BAN: Team India defeated Bangladesh by 50 runs on Saturday at Antigua ground. This is Team India's second win in the Super-8 stage. With this, the team has come closer to the semi-finals. Bangladesh captain Nazmul Hasan Shanto won the toss and decided to bowl. On the batting pitch, every top order batsman of Team India scored except Surya Kumar and scored 196 runs. Hardik Pandya completed his fifty by hitting a four on the last ball of the Indian innings.

India beat Bangladesh

After Hardik Pandya's half-century innings, India defeated Bangladesh by 50 runs in the Super Eight stage match due to the strong performance of the bowlers led by wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav. Batting first, India scored 196 runs for five wickets. In reply, Bangladesh's team could only score 146 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs.

Bangladesh got a target of 197 runs

On the basis of the unbeaten half-century of vice-captain Hardik Pandya, India set a target of 197 runs for Bangladesh to win in their second match of the Super Eight stage. Bangladesh won the toss and invited India to bat first and the team managed to score 196 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs. This is India's highest total in this World Cup. For India, Hardik played an unbeaten innings of 50 runs in 27 balls and played an important role in taking the team to a strong score. Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Rishad Hussain took two wickets each for Bangladesh.

After losing the toss and batting first, the Indian team had a good start, but captain Rohit Sharma could not make this partnership bigger and was dismissed by Shakib Al Hasan. With the wicket of Rohit, Shakib became the first bowler to complete 50 wickets in the T20 World Cup. Virat Kohli, who was in poor form, also performed well in this match and scored 36 runs in 24 balls. Kohli was the second highest run scorer for India after Hardik, but missed the half-century. At the same time, Shivam Dubey supported Hardik Pandya well and scored 34 runs in 24 balls. At one time it seemed that the Indian team would cross the score of 200 runs, but the Bangladesh bowlers were successful in making a comeback to some extent.
