Iran-Hezbollah News: Israel has launched a major operation in southern Lebanon after recently assassinating Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah. The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) has attacked tunnels located on the border and plans to weaken Hezbollah's operational capability. These attacks may point to a possible ground invasion by Israel, preparations for which could take place within this week.

Iran's statement and setback to Hezbollah

Iran has decided not to send its fighters to Gaza and Lebanon, dealing a major blow to Hezbollah. According to the US newspaper 'Wall Street Journal', Iran has refused to engage in a direct war against Israel. Iran's Foreign Ministry confirmed that they would not send their troops to Gaza and Lebanon, although any criminal act by Israel would be responded to. Abbas Nilforoshan, deputy commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, was killed in an Israeli attack in Beirut, along with Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah.

Increasing tension between Iran and Israel

Israel's increasing attacks on Hezbollah and Yemeni Houthi rebels have further increased tensions in the Middle East. However, Iran has denied sending its fighters directly and said that Hezbollah and Hamas fighters are able to withstand Israeli attacks. Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani said that Iran does not want war, but is not afraid of it either.

Impact of the death of Nasrallah and Nilforoshan

Regarding the death of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah and Iranian Revolutionary Guards commander Abbas Nilforoshan in Israeli attacks, Major General Hossein Salami has termed it a historic change. He said that this would prove to be a turning point for the Islamic world. Iran is closely monitoring the situation in West Asia after this incident and is preparing to respond.

Israel's next strategy

This action by Israel is not only aimed at weakening Hezbollah's strength, but it also points towards a possible ground invasion. The tension between Israel's military action and Iran may become even more fierce in the coming days, which may affect the stability of the entire Middle East.
