World / ISIS affiliate in Egypt swears allegiance to new leader
Islamic State (ISIS) affiliate in Egypt, Sinai Province, has sworn allegiance to the new leader named by the group following the death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the affiliate said on Saturday. ISIS named Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Quraishi as its new leader on Thursday. Baghdadi blew himself up during a raid by the US forces in Syria's Idlib province last week.
