Vice President-Jagdeep Dhankhar / Jagdeep Dhankhar becomes 14th Vice President President Draupadi Murmu administered the oath

Jagdeep Dhankhar took oath as the 14th Vice President of the country on Thursday afternoon. President Draupadi Murmu administered the oath to Dhankhar. Several cabinet ministers including former President Ram Nath Kovind, outgoing Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah were present in the swearing-in ceremony of the elected Vice President.

Swearing-in-Ceremony of the Vice President-elect Jagdeep Dhankhar : Jagdeep Dhankhar took oath as the 14th Vice President of the country on Thursday afternoon. Earlier Jagdeep Dhankhar visited Bapu's memorial. Jagdeep Dhankhar's swearing-in ceremony took place at 12.30 pm at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Let us tell you that a total of 725 MPs voted in the election of the Vice President held on 6 August. In this 710 votes were found valid and 15 votes were found invalid. In this Jagdeep Dhankhar got 525 votes and Margaret Alva got 182 votes.
