Washington: The US administration (US government) has withdrawn the order banning China's Tik Tok App and WeChat. The US has currently banned former President Donald Trump's executive order banning Tiktok and WeChat. The US has decided to conduct its own review to identify national security threats related to these Chinese applications.'Evidence based' analysis will be doneIn a new executive order from the White House, the Commerce Department has been directed to conduct an 'evidence-based' analysis of transactions related to apps made, controlled or supplied by China. Officials are particularly concerned about apps that collect people's private data and have links to the Chinese military or intelligence activities.America still worriesAccording to senior officials of the US administration, the department will also give recommendations regarding ways to better protect the genetic or health of Americans. Will look into threats to certain software applications linked to China or other hostile countries. This decision by the Joe Biden administration reflects America's current concern that popular apps linked to China may contain private data of Americans.Trump took the decision last yearIt is worth noting that Donald Trump had tried to ban Tiktok in 2020 but American courts banned him and after that the issue of Tiktok disappeared from discussions due to the presidential election.
