Delhi Assembly session: In the special session convened on Monday, there may be a tussle between the ruling Aam Aadmi Party and the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will present the motion of trust vote in the house in this session. In a scathing attack on the BJP, Kejriwal on Friday alleged that the opposition party's 'Operation Lotus' to topple his government has failed as it could not break any AAP MLA.

Method of grabbing power by deceit-Kejriwal

Kejriwal had said, "I want to bring a vote of confidence in the assembly so that it can be proved in front of the people of Delhi that BJP's 'Operation Lotus Delhi' has become 'Operation Muddi'." The fight is not against corruption and its 'Operation Lotus' is a way of grabbing power by deceit. Let us tell you that after the CBI raid at Manish Sisodia's house, the verbal war between BJP and AAP has intensified.

BJP also made this allegation on Kejriwal

BJP hit back, accusing Kejriwal of using the assembly for political campaigning and pretending to divert people's attention from his government's liquor "scam".

BJP MLAs were expelled

Significantly, all eight BJP MLAs were thrown out of the House on Friday through marshals for the entire day's proceedings. AAP has 62 MLAs and BJP eight in the 70-member Delhi Assembly.
