Cricket Desk: Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya both are extremely talented all-rounders. Every time they take the field, they always look to give it their all for the team. At the same time, they are also known for their hilarious antics on the field as well. Both the players are currently involved in the ongoing first ODI between India and Sri Lanka in Colombo.

Krunal is playing as the third spinner for India with the much-celebrated duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal also back playing together for the first time since World Cup 2019. However, the left-arm spinner impressed with his bowling as well and in the process, also entertained the fans watching the game.

He was in the middle of a good spell in the 22nd over of Sri Lanka’s innings. Krunal bowled a delivery at Dhananjaya de Silva who played it back to the bowler again. Krunal fielded the ball which was close to the non-striker Charith Asalanka and hilariously ended up hugging him. It was a funny moment and even though the commentators missed it, Twitterati captured and the picture of the same went viral on social media.

The fans were left in splits as not many found a specific reason for Krunal Pandya to hug the opposition batsman at that stage in the match.

Krunal Pandya’s economical bowling keeps India on top

Apart from that hilarious moment, Krunal Pandya has been exceptional with the ball. He has bowled tight lines to keep a leash on Sri Lanka‘s run-scoring and has also picked up a crucial wicket of Dhananjaya de Silva. The left-arm spinner has conceded only 22 runs in his nine overs so far and would be keen on finishing his spell well. If he gets an opportunity, Krunal would also be looking to bat well establishing his all-round credentials.

Meanwhile, his brother Hardik Pandya also returned to bowling earlier in the day but only bowled a couple of overs going for 12 runs. However, it was Krunal who hogged the limelight not only with his bowling but also with his hilarious hug to the opposition batsman.
