Narhari Jhirwal: A dramatic scene was seen in Maharashtra's Mantralaya today, when Ajit Pawar faction MLA and Assembly Deputy Speaker Narhari Jhirwal attempted to jump from the third floor. However, he got stuck on the safety net, which saved his life. Jhirwal and some other tribal MLAs were protesting against giving reservation to Dhangar community from ST quota.

Narhari Jhirwal, who is a member of NCP, is against this decision of the Shinde government and is raising his voice for the protection of the reservation of the tribal community. The MLAs protested vigorously in the Mantralaya, due to which the administration had to intervene.

The net became a 'safety shield'

Let us tell you that today the MLAs of the tribal community of Maharashtra are agitating in the Mantralaya. During this, the MLAs got down on the safety net installed on the second floor of the Mantralaya and started raising slogans. The police have removed the MLAs from the safety net.

The Deputy Speaker is opposing the decision of his own government

It is being told that he is against the decision of the Eknath Shinde government to give ST status to the Dhangar community. They are opposing the decision of their own government. Narhari Jhirwal is taking a strong stand to stop the intrusion of the Dhangar community into the reservation of the tribal community. The MLAs are protesting against the Dhangar community not getting reservation in the tribal quota and demanding job recruitment under the PESA Act.
