Entertainment | Stand-up comedian Munawwar Farooqui got an overwhelming response after winning 'Lockup'. He has become more famous than before but even after 'Lockup' his troubles are not decreasing. His show to be held in Delhi on August 28 was cancelled. Vishwa Hindu Parishad had threatened. After which the Delhi Police canceled the permission for the show. Earlier, his show was definitely held in Hyderabad but the show was organized amidst tight security. Now in a latest interview, Munawwar said that he was made a scapegoat every time. He says that people are now more sensitive than before because it affects the audience as well.

'Cancellation of one show affects 40 people'

Hindu organizations have accused Munawar Farooqui of hurting sentiments. He was also in jail for about a month in this case. In an interview with Siddharth Kanan, Munavvar told that he feels very bad whenever shows are cancelled. Munavvar said, 'It hurts if your work is stopped. Guess why now, from my show today 30-40 people's house was going to run. Those who were drivers, lightmen, bouncers, security guards, today's 500-1000 rupees went to them. Mine is gone. I always believe that whatever happened is okay. If you have the mercy of the one above, you will get it.

'I will earn by doing something'

Munavvar says, 'People who protest feel that they should stop their business. I have so much talent that I should earn 30 thousand a month which is enough to run the house. I will sit in front of the computer and earn anything by making greeting cards. Money is not my priority. He is in second and third place. The first is the love one gets from people.

Emotional Munawwar

Munavwar gets emotional while saying his words. When he was asked if he had thoughts of suicide, Munawwar said, 'Yes, of course, many things are haram in Islam like tattoos, cigarettes-alcohol, such things which harm your body, then the best thing to do is to eliminate it. It is considered one of the greatest sins. Then I think about my mother why she did this. When you know that God is very angry with this then why did he choose such a way to leave the world. That's what I always think. It is worth mentioning that Munavwar's mother had committed suicide.

The comedian said, 'We often hear that weak people commit suicide. From last 3-4 years I realized that not even very strong people can do this. When I heard about sushant singh rajput, my hands were trembling for 2-3 days. Even today when I hear the news of suicide, after a while I feel how strong a person has to be to take his own life. When you start thinking about all these things, the first thing that stops you is that God does not approve of this. Then other faces remember that if the news reaches him, what will be his reaction. So don't do this.
