On this matter, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had said recently that there is a need for change in the National Testing Agency and action will be taken against the accused officials of NTA. Meanwhile, Dharmendra Pradhan held a press conference on Thursday at 7 pm. In the press conference, Dharmendra Pradhan said that we are ready for any kind of improvement. Rumors related to paper leak should not be spread. He said that a worrying issue has come before all of us. I want to assure everyone that the government is committed to protecting the interests of the students.

What did Dharmendra Pradhan say?

He said that we will not compromise with transparency. The interest of the students is our priority. There will be no compromise with it at any cost. We are in constant touch with the Bihar government regarding the NEET exam. We are also getting some information from Patna. There has been some discussion today as well, Patna Police is getting to the bottom of this incident. The detailed report will be sent to the Government of India soon. He said, "On getting concrete information, strict action will be taken against the culprits. Be it NTA or any big person in NTA, strict action will be taken against whoever is found guilty in this."

He said that the government is going to form a high level committee. Whatever issue has come up regarding NTA, efforts will be made to further improve transparency. Zero error is our priority. Students are the future of the country. I request everyone not to spread any kind of rumours. Do not look at it from a political point of view. We are ready for any improvement. We will not spare any culprit.

Dharmendra Pradhan said, I would like to say that we have to take care of the interests of lakhs of students who have passed the exam. Patna Police has done a very good job. Some more information is yet to come. We are satisfied with their investigation. Central government officials and Bihar police officials are constantly talking. It is a matter of the interests of meritorious students, so we should not do anything that will endanger the future of lakhs of poor and meritorious students.
