Ethanol Import: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari is very famous for his working style. He is constantly trying to reduce the pollution level in the country and is promoting electric cars. Now Union Minister Gadkari said that Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have shown interest in importing ethanol from India. The Road Transport and Highways Minister said that he has discussed about ethanol with the governments of both the countries (Sri Lanka and Bangladesh).Discussion will be held with Petroleum Minister in 15 daysAddressing the CII conference on bio-fuel, Gadkari said, 'I have discussed this with the Prime Minister of Bangladesh and the Minister of Sri Lanka. Both Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are very keen on importing ethanol from India to mix ethanol in petrol. The minister also said that he has a meeting with Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri in 15 days, in which policy making for starting ethanol pumps in the country will be discussed.great future for ethanolThe Union Minister told that the future of ethanol is very good. Let us tell you that due to the sale of petrol mixed with ethanol in the country, the price of oil will come down. The biggest benefit of this will be for those who drive private vehicles like cars and bikes. Along with this, the level of pollution can also be reduced due to its consumption. He said that the government is keen to buy more and more ethanol and is also confident of encouraging the use of alternative fuel.Gadkari said that due to green fuel, the problem of pollution is also going to be solved.
