Rabri Devi Statement: Bihar politics has heated up once again. Senior Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Chief Minister Rabri Devi has launched a scathing attack on the current Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, saying that he "comes to the House after smoking ganja" and "insults women every day." This statement has caused a stir in political circles.

Rabri Devi's allegation

Rabri Devi on Wednesday alleged that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's attitude is disrespectful towards women. She said, "Nitish Kumar comes to the House after drinking ganja. He insults women, including me. He should see what kind of work we did when we were in power." She also alleged that Nitish Kumar follows the words of the people around him and speaks the same.

Nitish Kumar's reaction

Reacting to this statement in the Legislative Council, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that no work was done during the reign of RJD, while his government has done important work in every field. He said, "When we came, we did every single thing. We ended the Hindu-Muslim conflict. Earlier, there was no work for women, we gave reservation." During this, there was a heated debate between the two leaders, to calm which the Speaker had to intervene.

Attack by Tejashwi Yadav

Along with Rabri Devi, her son and opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav also attacked Nitish Kumar fiercely. He said that the Chief Minister is in an unconscious state and is constantly insulting women. Demanding resignation from Nitish Kumar, he said, "Crime is at its peak in Bihar and the government is giving protection to criminals." This statement of Tejashwi Yadav has become another challenge for the ruling alliance.

Nitish Kumar's displeasure

Earlier, on March 7, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had also got angry at the women MLAs of RJD in the Legislative Council. He had said that "You are in that party whose husbands started breaking up, so you made a woman." After this statement, the opposition created a ruckus in the House and boycotted the proceedings.

Controversy over Biharsharif incident

There was a huge uproar in the assembly on the issue of the brutal murder of a woman in Biharsharif. CPI(ML) MLAs raised slogans against the government, after which Nitish Kumar folded his hands and appealed to the MLAs to maintain peace.

Political instability increased

After the statements of Rabri Devi and Tejashwi Yadav, a new controversy has arisen in Bihar politics. The tension between the opposition and the ruling coalition is increasing, which may also affect the strategies for the upcoming elections. Now it remains to be seen what effect this controversy has on the political situation of Bihar.
