J&K Election 2024: Prominent face of Indian politics and Home Minister Amit Shah recently addressed a rally in Paloura, Jammu and Kashmir, where he highlighted the importance of this special day. Regarding this election conference organized on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, he said that this is a unique coincidence. Traditionally, Vighnaharta is worshiped on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, who is known to end every obstacle. On this occasion, he wished the countrymen a Happy Ganesh Chaturthi and Jain brothers a Happy Paryushan festival.

A step towards historic election

Amit Shah, during the rally, described the upcoming election as a historic event and said that this would be the first time that the voter of Jammu and Kashmir would vote only under a tricolor. He clarified that now the voters will vote only under the Indian Constitution, which was drafted by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Shah stressed that this election will set a new era for Jammu and Kashmir.

Sarcastic remark on National Conference and Congress

Shah directly attacked the National Conference and Congress and alleged that these parties are promoting divisive agendas in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that he has gone door-to-door to make people aware against the divisive agendas of these parties. Shah said that these parties want to snatch away the rights that the mothers and sisters of Jammu and Kashmir have got after the removal of Article 370.

He warned the National Conference and Congress that if they come to power, they will try to bring out the people involved in terrorism and stone pelting from jail again. Shah raised the question whether people will allow terrorism to return to Jammu and other peaceful areas again?

Autonomy issue

Shah made it clear that the autonomy offered by the National Conference and Congress is a false hope. He said that the autonomy due to which violence and terrorism spread in Jammu and Kashmir is now being proposed once again. He appealed to the public not to believe this false assurance.

Reaction on Rahul Gandhi and Pakistan

Amit Shah also targeted Rahul Gandhi and said that despite his every effort, the reservation of Gujjars, Bakarwals, Paharis and Dalits will not be allowed to be affected. He also made it clear that talks with Pakistan will be possible only when complete peace is established in Jammu and Kashmir.

Talks of restoration of statehood

Shah rejected the talk of restoration of statehood by Rahul Gandhi and National Conference. He made it clear that only the central government and Prime Minister Modi can steer the process of restoration of statehood. He warned the Congress and National Conference to stop trying to fool people and said that assurances have already been given to grant statehood to Jammu and Kashmir at an appropriate time after the elections.

Thus, Amit Shah's visit to Jammu and Kashmir and his address not only highlight the importance of the upcoming elections but also give a clear indication on the future direction of the state.
