Champions Trophy 2025 / Not only Team India, Afghanistan too will not play Champions Trophy in Pakistan?

Champions Trophy 2025: Champions Trophy is being organized in Pakistan next year but according to reports, BCCI has refused to send Team India there. If reports are to be believed, Team India can play its matches in the Champions Trophy in Sri Lanka or Dubai, but in the meantime, there is a demand to get Afghanistan's matches out of Pakistan. Afghanistan's big celebrity Wajama Ayyubi has claimed on social media that the Afghanistan team is not safe in Pakistan and the Afghan team's matches should be held outside there.

Pakistan is not safe

Wajma Ayyubi has demanded to get the Afghan team's matches out of Pakistan because a famous Pashto poet Gilaman Wazir was murdered in broad daylight in Islamabad. He was addressing a gathering in Islamabad on July 7 and then he was attacked by a violent mob. He was stabbed and as a result, he died in the hospital on Thursday. Referring to the same murder, Wajama Ayyubi wrote that no one is safe in Pakistan. He wrote to ICC demanding that Afghanistan's matches should be held somewhere else.

Pakistan is an unsafe country and it's outrageous to even consider playing any Champions Trophy matches there. The safety of our heroes should not be compromised in such a treacherous place. It is difficult for Team India to go to Pakistan

On one hand, Pakistan Cricket Board is dreaming that Team India will go to their country to play Champions Trophy, on the other hand, it is clear that BCCI will never send Rohit and company there. There are also reports that many Indian players have refused to go to Pakistan. However, this decision is not in the hands of BCCI. Before going to Pakistan, it will have to take permission from the Indian government. And getting permission to go to Pakistan is almost impossible.
