Higher Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Dr. NK Joshi, Vice Chancellor of Kumaon University, to include new subjects in the curriculum. The syllabus has been prepared after taking the opinion of the academicians to prepare the syllabus on behalf of the committee.

 

The Higher Education Minister said that under the new education policy, the university has the autonomy to decide the syllabus. After the proposal of the course is brought to the cabinet, it will be implemented in the colleges from the new academic session. On the other hand, the Education Minister gave instructions for promotion of teachers and officers in the meeting of departmental officers. The Education Minister said that in some cases it has been delayed due to non-compliance of CRs by teachers and officials. The officers have been told that promotion from teacher to officer level should be done soon.

 

Officers will go to the blocks

According to Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, officers above the District Education Officer will visit 5-5 schools of every block from this month and interact with teachers, students and parents. Who will find out what kind of problems are in the schools. basic facilities or not. They will submit their report within a month.
