Dubai Visa: There is good news for Indians who want to go to Dubai and work and settle there. Now it will become even easier to visit, live and do business in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). For this, apart from ways to promote people-to-people contacts between India and UAE, the early finalization of agreements related to migration and movement have been discussed. The decision was taken during the fifth meeting of the Joint Committee on Diplomatic Affairs (JCCA) on Tuesday in New Delhi.

The Ministry of External Affairs said that both sides extensively discussed mechanisms to strengthen coordination and cooperation on issues including labour, visas, migration, citizenship and extradition in this meeting. "The two sides also discussed other issues of mutual interest, including visa facilitation to promote better people-to-people contacts and early conclusion of agreements on migration and movement," the ministry said. Said that the UAE gave detailed information about various steps taken by the government to ensure the welfare of Indian migrant workers.

Cooperation will increase in economic, trade, defense and technology

India and UAE are now going together to promote mutual cooperation in many fields. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs said, "Relations between the two countries cover all areas of mutual cooperation including political, economic, trade, commerce, defence, cultural, technology and energy, people-to-people contacts." Relations between countries are continuously deepening. More than 35 lakh Indians currently live in the UAE. This number is expected to increase further after this agreement. (Language)
