ODI World Cup: The drama about Pakistan's participation in the World Cup to be held in India this year has not stopped. Every day some or the other statement comes from Pakistan in this regard. Now on Sunday, Pakistan's Sports Minister Ehsan Mazari has threatened India and said that if the Indian team does not come to his country for the Asia Cup, then he too will not send his team to India for the World Cup. Sports Minister has said that In such a situation, he will withdraw his name from the World Cup.

This statement of the Sports Minister has come after a special step by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif. The Prime Minister of Pakistan has constituted a committee regarding the participation of their cricket team in the World Cup to be held in India. This committee will decide whether the Pakistan team will come to India for the World Cup to be held from October 5 to November 19 or not. In this World Cup, India and Pakistan are to play a match on October 15 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Match at neutral venue

The committee constituted by Sharif includes 11 ministers including Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Ehsan. Keeping his point, Ehsan said that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) comes under him, so if India demands to play Asia Cup matches at neutral venues, then Pakistan will also have to do the same for the World Cup to be held in India. Must demand. The Sports Minister said that the committee will discuss the entire issue and then give its suggestions to the Prime Minister. After that he will take the final decision.

Ehsan said that the committee headed by Bhutto would submit its report to the Prime Minister by next week. Meanwhile, new PCB chairman Zaka Ashraf will attend an important ICC meeting in South Africa, in which BCCI secretary Jai Shah will also be present. Jai Shah is also the President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). In this meeting there can be discussion about Asia Cup and World Cup.

Questions raised on the Indian government

The dates of the Asia Cup have been announced but the complete schedule has not come yet. According to the decision taken by the ACC along with the PCB, the Asia Cup will be played jointly by Pakistan and Sri Lanka from August 31 to September 17. Its four matches will be played in Pakistan and the remaining nine matches will be played in Sri Lanka. Ehsan said that he did not like this decision which was taken during the tenure of former PCB chairman Najam Sethi. He said that Pakistan is the host and it should organize all the matches in its country.

Ehsan raised questions on the Indian government and said that it is bringing politics into cricket. Ehsan said that he does not understand why the Indian government does not want to send Team India to Pakistan. He said that a few days ago India's baseball team had come to Islamabad and the bridge team had also visited Pakistan. He said that Pakistan's football, hockey and chess teams had also visited India.

This is the whole matter

Pakistan is hosting the Asia Cup but BCCI had made it clear that it will not send Team India to Pakistan for this tournament. After this, the BCCI had asked to get the Asia Cup out of Pakistan. But Pakistan was not ready for this. He had said that if India does not come to Pakistan for the Asia Cup, then he will also not go to India for the World Cup.

Pakistan had again said that it can get India's matches outside Pakistan and the rest of the matches in Pakistan only. There was a lot of debate about this and then the ACC allowed Pakistan to host four matches at home and the remaining matches in Sri Lanka. But now Pakistan is talking about not coming again for the World Cup.
