India vs New Zealand T20 Series, Jitesh Sharma Stats: The Indian cricket team defeated New Zealand 3-0 in the ODI series. Wicket-keeper batsman Jitesh Sharma, who plays for Vidarbha in domestic cricket, has not yet got a chance to make his international debut. He recently batted at a strike rate of 130 in the Ranji Trophy Group-D match against Gujarat and scored 69 runs off 53 balls, hitting 4 fours and 5 sixes. Even though he got out after scoring 10 runs in the first innings, he was the top scorer of the team in the second innings. He was also included in the team for the T20 series against Sri Lanka but could not be a part of the playing-11.

Selected in the series against Sri Lanka, but stayed away from playing-11

29-year-old Jitesh Sharma was included in the team for the last two matches of the T20 series against Sri Lanka. After the injury of Kerala star Sanju Samson, he was selected in the team but Hardik Pandya did not give him a chance in the playing-11 under his captaincy. He kept sitting on the bench. After this, he was not included in Team India for the ODI series against New Zealand. Now he will have a chance in T20 but it will be interesting to see which player Hardik will trust as a wicketkeeper.
