It is reported that a passenger, fed up with the delay in Indigo flight, punched the pilot. The flight was getting delayed due to fog, but correct information was not being given to the passengers. A complaint about this matter has been made to the IGI police. IGI police have registered the case and started investigation. Delhi Police says that we will take appropriate legal action against the accused. According to sources, the Aviation Security Agency has started investigation in relation to the viral video. According to Delhi Police, this incident took place at 7 pm on Sunday evening. The flight was going from Delhi to Goa.

In the viral video, it is seen that a passenger on board the flight assaulted the pilot of the plane when he was making an announcement regarding the delay of the flight. A video of the fight is now viral on social media. A passenger wearing a yellow hoodie suddenly ran from the last row and punched the pilot. It has been claimed in the video that the Indigo flight was late by 13 hours.

Responding to the video, a user on X wrote, 'What does the pilot or cabin crew have to do with the delay? They were just doing their job. Arrest this man, and put him on the no-fly list. Publish his picture so that people become aware of his bad nature publicly.

110 flights delayed due to fog

According to flight tracker website Flightradar24, this incident happened amidst the delay of many flights at Delhi airport. Today 110 flights have been delayed and 79 flights have been cancelled. The average delay reached 50 minutes. Due to continuous delay of flights, passengers are facing a lot of trouble. They have to wait for hours to reach their destination.

People said – put it in the no fly list

After the video of assault with the pilot went viral, users are giving their reactions on social media platform X. One user asked to put misbehaving passengers on the no-fly list. The user wrote that what does the pilot or cabin crew have to do with the delay? They were just doing their job. Arrest this man and put him on the no-fly list. Publish his photo so that people become aware of his bad nature publicly.

Congress leader said - Irresponsible attitude of the airline, minister and media all silent

Congress leader Pawan Kheda wrote on X- Social media is filled with complaints of angry passengers who are stuck inside planes, airports and even aerobridges for hours. Excessive delays, poor customer service and irresponsibility of airlines are troubling passengers. They are just helplessly tagging @DGCAIndia and the Aviation Minister, but the Minister, the Ministry and the media have maintained silence. If Congress had been in government, there would have been 24x7 non-stop media coverage of this situation.

First flight delayed due to fog, then change of pilot

According to the information, Indigo flight number 6E-2175 was to take off from Delhi to Goa at 7.40 am. There were frequent delays in flights due to dense fog in Delhi. The schedule of flight delays kept being announced from morning to afternoon.

Apart from this, it was also said in the media reports that some delay in the flight was also due to the change of pilot. Actually, the rule of Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL) applies in flights, that is, pilots are not allowed to fly after a fixed time.
