400th Light Year of Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur / PM Modi will address the nation from Red Fort today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation from the Red Fort on Thursday on the occasion of the 400th Prakash Parv of Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur. This is the first time that the Prime Minister will address the nation after sunset from the Mughal era monument. Officials said that security arrangements have been tightened for this. 1000 personnel and personnel of other agencies will be involved in PM's security.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation from the Red Fort on Thursday on the occasion of the 400th Prakash Parv of Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur. This is the first time that the Prime Minister will address the nation after sunset from the Mughal era monument.

Officials said that security arrangements have been tightened for this. 1000 personnel and personnel of other agencies will be involved in PM's security. 100 CCTV cameras have been installed in the Red Fort complex. These include the place from where the PM will address the country. The Prime Minister will also release a special coin and postage stamp on the occasion. According to officials, National Security Guard (NSG) shooters, SWAT commandos, etc. are involved for security.

The Prime Minister will deliver his address from the lawns instead of the Red Fort's ramparts. Culture ministry officials said the fort was chosen as the venue because it was here in 1675 that Mughal ruler Aurangzeb ordered the execution of the ninth Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur. According to officials, Prime Minister Modi will address the nation at 9.30 pm and his speech will emphasize on harmony between different religions and communities.

Red Fort lit up for the first time on Prakash Parv

For the first time, the Red Fort of Delhi lit up on the occasion of Prakash Parv. Everyone present here on Wednesday evening was getting attracted to see the laser light show. People also had darshan of the ninth Guru of Sikhs, Tegh Bahadur ji, through the light. Along with this, the beauty of the Red Fort was attracting people through different colors.

According to the information, a two-day program dedicated to the 400th Prakash Parv of Guru Tegh Bahadur started on Wednesday evening. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was present in the program on the first day. Whereas Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend Thursday's program here. The Prime Minister will also release a postage stamp and coin in the memory of Guru Tegh Bahadur. His address will also be on this occasion.

Organized by the Union Ministry of Culture and the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC), this program continued till late night after starting at 6 pm. The venue has been decorated in an attractive way and a grand stage has also been built.

PM to present Public Administration Excellence Award

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will present the Public Administration Excellence Award on Thursday on the occasion of the 15th Civil Services Day. The Prime Minister's Office said that on this occasion, Prime Minister Modi will also address civil service officers.

According to the office, the Prime Minister will confer Public Administration Excellence Awards to districts and implementing units and other central or state organizations for effective implementation of identified priority programs and innovations.

The Prime Minister's Awards for Excellence in Public Administration have been instituted to recognize the exceptional and innovative work done by the organizations of the Districts, Central and State Governments for the welfare of the common citizen. Some priority programs have been identified for the awards to be given on Civil Services Day 2022. This year, 10 awards will be given for five identified priority programmes, while 6 awards will be given to organizations from the Centre, state governments and districts for innovations.
