Tata Motors: Recently, there was a wave of mourning in the Tata Group after the demise of India's iconic industrialist Ratan Tata, but even after him, Tata Motors has achieved great success in the Indian market through its latest product, Tata Curve. On this Dhanteras, Tata Motors' new coupe SUV, Tata Curve, has registered good progress in terms of sales. Tata launched this model earlier this year, and its petrol, diesel and electric versions have received great response from customers.

Record sales in August-September

According to passenger vehicle industry data from SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers), a total of 8,218 units of Tata Curve have been sold between August and September. This number is also more than Tata's other SUV model, Tata Harrier. This figure has set a new record for Tata Curve, especially this coupe SUV of Tata is also holding well in its segment.

The demand for Tata Curve increased even more in September as compared to August. While 3,455 units were sold in August, 4,763 units were sold in September, up 38 per cent over the previous month. While the company has not released data for different fuel variants (petrol, diesel and electric), the overall sales figures indicate the popularity of the Curve.

Ahead of Harrier and other rivals

The average monthly sales of the Tata Curve are much higher than that of the Tata Harrier, which sells around 1,700 units on an average monthly basis. Although this figure is still lower than models like the Tata Nexon and midsize segment leader Hyundai Creta, the initial response suggests that the Curve is emerging as a strong option in this segment.

Safety and value: The advantage of the Tata Curve

The Tata Curve has received an overwhelming response from customers since its launch. The car also meets the highest standards in terms of safety; The Curve has received a 5-star safety rating in India NCAP, making it a safe driving option. Moreover, the ex-showroom price of the Tata Curve ranges from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 19 lakh, while the price for the electric version ranges from Rs 17.49 lakh to Rs 21.99 lakh.

This Dhanteras, Tata Motors' Curve has proved its strong market hold, and this is an encouraging sign for the Tata Group.
