There is a ruckus in JDU over Union Steel Minister RCP Singh. His place in JDU is shrinking. After his Rajya Sabha ticket was cut, now the national president of the party's parliamentary board, Upendra Kushwaha, has asked RCP Singh to resign from the post of Union minister. Kushwaha said that the RCP should give up its post on moral grounds. On Tuesday, the JDU also showed the leaders close to the RCP out of the party citing indiscipline.

Upendra Kushwaha on Tuesday said that as long as a person is a member of Parliament, he can comfortably remain a minister. If there is no membership then there should be morality. RCP Singh should not delay in resigning. In the current situation, there is no justification for RCP to continue as a minister at the Centre.

However, when Kushwaha was asked what would be the role of RCP Singh in the party, he said that this is not the party's agenda. It is up to them to decide. Let us inform that the Rajya Sabha membership of RCP Singh is ending on July 7.

Four close RCP leaders out of the party

JDU on Tuesday suspended Bihar spokesperson Ajay Alok, state general secretary Anil Kumar, Vipin Yadav and Jitendra Neeraj, president of the disbanded Samaj Reform Sena cell, from the membership of the party. He has been expelled from the party for indulging in anti-party activities. However, these four leaders are close to Union Minister RCP Singh. In this way, the JDU leadership made it clear that there is no place in the party for those who support RCP Singh.

It is clear from the political developments of the last few months that the JDU leadership is upset with RCP Singh. Well, there is no clear reason for this. But it is believed that due to his haste to become a Union Minister and closeness to BJP, he kept away from JDU leaders. Experts believe that before becoming the Union Minister, RCP Singh did not take consent from the party leaders. After becoming a minister, he had to resign from the post of party president and then one by one the leaders close to him also stepped down.
