It is being told that a total cost of Rs 1600 crore was incurred in this mission of Russia. So far there are only three countries on the surface of the moon which have been able to make a successful landing.

There was a problem before landing in Luna-25

The landing of Russia's Luna-25 was to take place on August 21, but it has now crashed after a technical glitch. Explain that Russia's Luna-25 was also supposed to land on the same South Pole where ISRO's Vikram Lander had to land. Russia sent its Luna-25 to the moon on 10 August. A few hours after this technical fault, the Russian space agency Roscosmos has reported that Luna-25 crashed. Russia's Luna has to make a soft landing on the South Pole of the Moon tomorrow i.e. on 21 August. Russia launched its moon mission after about five decades.

Luna-25 reached the moon's orbit by taking a shortcut

It is also worth noting that while ISRO sent Chandrayaan-3 towards the moon on July 14, on the other hand, Russia launched Luna-25 on August 10, about a month later. Despite this, the soft landing of Luna-25 was to happen before Chandrayaan-3. This is because Luna-25 has a more modern launcher than ISRO which took Luna-25 from the direct route to the moon. Which was about to reach the surface of the moon in only 11 days. At the same time, ISRO's Chandrayaan-3 has taken an orbital route to reach the moon, under which it is taking more than a month to land. Not only this, Luna-25 is also much lighter than India's Chandrayaan-3. Luna-25 weighed only 1,750 kg, much lighter than Chandrayaan-3's 3,800 kg.

On the other hand, the whole world is expecting a miracle from India's Chandrayaan-3. Now space scientists from all over the world have their eyes on ISRO. Deboosting was done for the second time in Vikram, the lander of Chandrayaan-3 mission at 2 pm on Saturday night. After this deboosting, now the lander Vikram has reached closer to the lunar surface. At present, the lander Vikram is orbiting the Moon at a distance of 25 km from the nearest and 134 km from the farthest. According to ISRO, now only deorbit burn and landing are left. The orbit in which the lander is at present is called Intermediate Transfer Orbit by ISRO. This is where the lander will wait for sunrise at its landing site and from this orbit the lander Vikram will land on the moon at 5.45 pm on August 23.
