UP By Election 2024: Samajwadi Party and Congress will once again be seen together in the by-elections to be held on 10 seats in UP. SP President Akhilesh Yadav has indicated in the meeting of the party headquarters that the alliance will remain in the by-elections as well. It is believed that SP can give ticket to Awadhesh Prasad's son from Ayodhya. At the same time, the party can field Lalji Verma's daughter Chhaya Verma from Katehari seat.

Samajwadi Party has almost finalized the ticket for Sisamau assembly by-election. After meeting Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow, the SP city president has approved the name of Irfan Solanki's wife Naseem Solanki. At the same time, Akhilesh has also given instructions to the officials to get involved in the elections.

SP National President Akhilesh Yadav had called the officials of the metropolitan unit and both the presidents of Sisamau assembly constituency to Lucknow. After talking to the officials, the high command told its decision. This put a stop to the efforts of SP leaders who were claiming tickets from this area.

Message given to start preparations

Metropolitan President Haji Fazal Mahmood said that National President Akhilesh Yadav has instructed that Naseem Solanki, wife of outgoing MLA Irfan Solanki, will contest the Sisamau by-election. Along with this, a message was also sent to start preparations for the election.

BJP brainstormed on the preparations for the by-election with the core committee.

BJP National General Secretary (Organization) BL Santosh held a meeting with the state general secretaries and regional presidents and decided the strategy for victory in the assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh. In the meeting held at the party's state headquarters, he also reviewed the poor performance in the Lok Sabha elections. After this, in the core committee meeting, he brainstormed on the preparations for the by-election with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

This time BJP has been able to win only 33 seats in the Lok Sabha elections, whereas in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP had won 62 seats. This time the party had set a target of winning all the seats along with its allies, but the results were contrary to expectations.
