Taliban say Afghans commenced playing cricket after they dominated formerly and that they will aid the game going forward. Anas Haqqani, a member of the Taliban's political workplace and negotiating group, made the feedback throughout an assembly with contributors of the countrywide cricket group.

The assembly was attended by national cricket group captain Hashmatullah Shahidi, former cricket board choice committee chairman Asadullah and Noor Ali Zadran. During the assembly, Haqqani reassured the cricket area and pledged to evaluate cricketers' problems immediately.

During the assembly, the players thanked Anas Haqqani and his delegation and expressed their desire for aid from the Taliban.

This comes a few days after every other member of the Taliban's political group, Sohail Shaheen, also expressed aid for the cricket group and stated he hoped to watch the planned Afghanistan-Pakistan matches.

Afghanistan and Pakistan are scheduled to play 3 ODIs from September 1 to 5 in Sri Lanka.
