Ghaziabad / The fire in the slums of Kanavani village reached the cowshed, 30-40 cows were burnt

There was a stir in Kanawani village of Ghaziabad on Monday afternoon when a massive fire broke out in the slums located there. The fire was so strong that it reached the Gaushala located nearby and around 30-40 cows got burnt in the fire. There is no report of any casualty due to the burning of the slums.

According to the information, a sudden fire broke out in the slum huts around 12:30 on Monday. The local resident said that on getting information about the fire, immediately rushed to the spot and the family members were rescued and brought out.

Most of the people living in the slum do scrap work, so foil, cardboard and other scrap items were present in abundance, due to which the fire spread rapidly. However, there is no report of any casualty in this fire.

The matter of burning of 30-40 cows in the Gaushala came to the fore

During this, Suraj Pandit, the national president of Shri Krishna Gaushala Seva Trust, says that he was running a gaushala equal to the slums for 3 years, keeping about 100 cows in it, he was serving. He says that not a single cow has been taken out so far. Officers including Circle Officer Indirapuram Abhay Kumar Mishra reached the spot. There is talk of burning of 30-40 cows here.

DM and SSP reached the spot

Ghaziabad District Magistrate Rakesh Kumar Singh and SSP Muniraj reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported. He said that after inspecting the spot, the situation is being reviewed and further action will be taken after taking report from the officials.
