Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Wednesday that the Delhi government would order a magistrate's office investigation into the death of a Dalit teenager as a result of an alleged sexual assault.

He also claims compensation of Rs 10 lakh from the girl's family.

“Our daughter cannot come back. He told reporters after meeting the family, the injustice inflicted on the family is regrettable and cannot be compensated, but the government will give them Rs 10 lakh and order the judge to do so.

The girl's parents as well as hundreds of residents staged a demonstration near the site of the incident in the Old Nangal neighbourhood of southwest Delhi, demanding the death penalty for the accused.

When Kejriwal arrived in the area to meet with his parents, protesters cracked down on the prime minister and started to wave slogans against him.

The minister said the government will appoint the best lawyers to ensure that the culprits receive the harshest sentence.

“There is a need to strengthen law and order in Delhi. "I urge the central government to take firm steps in this direction," he said.

If the Center needs our help, we will cooperate fully with them, but if such incidents occur in Delhi, it will not send a good message to the nation's capital all over the world, Kejriwal added.

The young girl lives with her parents in a rented house in front of the crematorium. At around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, she fetched cold water from the crematorium refrigerator after telling her mother about it, her parents said.

At around 6:00 p.m., the crematorium priest, Radhey Shyam, and two others are known to the girl's mother called her there and brought out her daughter's body claiming that she had been electrocuted while taking water from the cooler.

It is alleged that the priest and others advised her mother not to call PCR, saying that the police would investigate the case and that during the autopsy the doctors would steal the organs of the girl, so it is better to cremate it.

Four people, including the priest, were arrested in connection with the incident. The defendants were charged with murder and rape.

The Delhi Women's Commission has opened an investigation into the matter.

Declaring that the case was "very serious" and deserving of "urgent attention", the squad summoned the previously present Southwest District Commissioner on August 5 and presented a full file of the case. judgment as well as a copy of the FIR.
