Hardik Pandya News: No matter how the time is, it changes. This applies to every turn of life, whether it is good or bad. Hardly anyone can understand this better than the players associated with any sport, where it does not take much time for time to change. Within a few hours, a few days or a few weeks, they reach from rags to riches or from riches to rags. Team India's star all-rounder Hardik Pandya is the latest and biggest example of this, who was the target of millions of fans till two months ago, but now the same fans are praising him, slogans are being raised in his name, that too in the same Wankhede Stadium, where he had to listen to a lot of bad things.

Team India returned to the country on Thursday, July 4 after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 title in Barbados. Team India returned to New Delhi where it was given a warm welcome from the airport to the hotel. Then the team also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After this, the program that the fans were waiting for the most was to be held in Mumbai. Here Team India had to take out a victory parade in an open bus and then a special program was to be held at the Wankhede Stadium.

Wankhede echoed with Hardik's name

As expected, even before Team India reached Mumbai, all the places from the roads to the Wankhede Stadium were packed to the brim. The Wankhede Stadium was filled to its full capacity and from this stadium, that scene was seen again, which was difficult to even imagine till one and a half to two months ago. The entire stadium was not chanting Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma, but Hardik-Hardik. A fan present in the stadium posted a similar video, in which the entire Wankhede Stadium echoed with Hardik's name.

Abuse in IPL, won hearts in the World Cup

This video is enough to tell that it does not take long for times to change. Just a few weeks ago, during IPL 2024, slogans were being raised against Hardik during the Mumbai Indians match in this stadium. Hardik had replaced Rohit Sharma as the captain of Mumbai before this season, which was not liked by the fans of this franchise and especially Rohit Sharma. During the entire tournament, Mumbai and Rohit fans raised slogans against Hardik and abusive words were used against him.

These same fans changed completely after a few weeks and came out in support of Hardik because the star all-rounder started showing his prowess in the T20 World Cup. In the final, Hardik made the team champion by taking 3 wickets including 2 biggest batsmen like Heinrich Klaasen and David Miller. Apart from scoring 144 runs in the entire tournament, Hardik also took 11 wickets and won the hearts of the fans along with the World Cup.

Team India gets Rs 125 crore

After the victory parade from Nariman Point to Marine Drive in Mumbai, the open bus of Team India was taken to Wankhede Stadium. Where the Indian players were honored by the BCCI and as per the promise of Jay Shah, Team India was also given a check of Rs 125 crore. Team India players also did a victory lap in the field. Where Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli could not stop themselves after seeing the fans and they were seen dancing with the players of Team India. Rohit Sharma also made a big statement during this. Where he has also said a big thing about Hardik Pandya.

What did Rohit Sharma say?

Rohit Sharma said during the felicitation ceremony at Wankhede that this trophy is for the whole country. It was an honor to meet PM Narendra Modi with the team. We all know how passionate he is about the game. Mumbai never disappoints when it comes to winning trophies. Rohit Sharma further said in his statement that I am very proud of this team. I am very lucky to have this team. This journey of the entire players and support staff started three-four years ago. What we have done in the last three-four years was an effort of that.

Said this about Hardik Pandya

Rohit Sharma said during his statement that as much as we players had the desire to win the World Cup, perhaps our public had even more desire than that. I am very happy that we did something on 29 June, which brought smiles to the faces of crores of people. I am very happy. Rohit Sharma said about Hardik in his statement that salute to Hardik Pandya who bowled the last over of the final match and he bowled brilliantly. On hearing this from Rohit Sharma, the fans started shouting Hardik-Hardik in the field.
