The manifesto aims to address the current problems prevailing in the state and offer solutions to the problems of the people. While reading the manifesto, Congress leaders Pawan Khera and Tariq Hameed Karra said that the situation in Kashmir has become extremely worrying for the last decade and now the time has come to heal it.

Central point of the manifesto

Pawan Khera declared that this manifesto is not just a list of promises, but it talks about the rights of the people. He says that Kashmir has now become a graveyard of dreams and this manifesto will offer solutions to the sufferings of the people.

Promises for women

The manifesto places special emphasis on women empowerment. Congress has announced the 'Mahila Samman Yojana', under which women heads of economically weaker sections will be provided financial assistance of Rs 3,000 every month. Additionally, under the 'Sakhi Shakti' scheme, every woman will get interest-free loan of up to Rs 5 lakh through self-help groups. Mahila police cells will be set up in all police stations, which will strengthen the system of security and support for women.

Focus on employment

In terms of employment, Congress has made several important promises for the youth. The party has said that if they come to power, Rs 3,500 will be provided every month as unemployment allowance for a year. Additionally, the Congress government is planning to fill 1 lakh vacant government posts and will release a job calendar to complete government recruitments on time.

Relief for farmers

Many important announcements have also been made for farmers. The government will provide a monthly assistance of Rs 4,000 to landless farmers or farmers who cultivate on rented land. Apart from this, 99-year lease will be arranged for landless farmers cultivating the state's land. Minimum price of Rs 72 per kg will be ensured for apple crops and 100 percent crop insurance will be provided for all crops to protect against natural disasters.

Conclusion

Congress' new manifesto 'Ab Badlega Haalat' presents a dedicated approach to solve the problems of Jammu and Kashmir. The promises made in it for women empowerment, employment opportunities, and assistance to farmers can be an important step towards changing the social and economic landscape of the state. The success of this manifesto will depend on how effectively Congress is able to implement these promises and how quickly it is able to solve the problems of the people of the state.
