Israel-Hezbollah War: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has recently rejected the ceasefire proposal and directed the Israeli Army (IDF) to continue attacks against Hezbollah. An official statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office said that this ceasefire proposal was presented by the US and France, but the Prime Minister did not respond to it. On the contrary, Netanyahu directed the Israeli army to move forward with all its might and implement the plans that were put before them.

US-France ceasefire proposal

In fact, the US and France proposed a 21-day ceasefire to stop the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. The proposal was also supported by many European countries including Australia, Canada, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar. But Israel has made it clear that it will continue its military action against Hezbollah. However, there has been no formal statement from Hezbollah on this proposal so far.

Increasing deaths in Israeli attacks

Amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, Israeli attacks are causing massive casualties in Lebanon. 72 people were killed in the attacks on Wednesday, taking the death toll in the conflict that has been going on since September 23 to over 620 so far. Hezbollah has claimed that it has targeted Israeli military bases in Haifa, northern Israel. Although the Israeli army has not confirmed these claims of Hezbollah, the IDF said that Hezbollah has fired 45 rockets at Israel.

Fear of ground invasion in Lebanon

Meanwhile, regional tensions have increased due to the fear of a possible ground invasion of the Israeli army in Lebanon. Many countries around the world are keeping an eye on this situation. India has already advised its citizens not to travel to Lebanon and return from there immediately. China has also issued a warning to its citizens not to travel to Lebanon. Turkey has also started working on a plan to evacuate its citizens.

International reaction and concerns

Amidst all this development, concerns are growing globally that if the Israeli army launches a ground invasion in Lebanon, the conflict could become more severe. After the ceasefire proposal presented by the US and France, which was an international effort, was rejected by Israel, regional stability is now under threat.

This move by the Israeli Prime Minister makes it clear that Israel is currently in no mood to end its military operation against Hezbollah. At the same time, the growing tension in Lebanon and the possible ground invasion have increased the concern of the international community. In such a situation, it remains to be seen how difficult it will be to resolve this conflict in the coming days.
