In Vats Colony of Linepar area of Bahadurgarh, a man entered his elder brother's house and opened fire on his family. In the incident, the elder brother of the attacker was killed and a neighbor who came to the rescue, besides sister-in-law and two nephews was injured. All the four injured have been admitted to PGI Rohtak. The attacker fled after the incident. Police have recovered his licensed pistol from the spot. The reason for the quarrel is not clear. It is being said that there was a dispute between the two brothers over land.The deceased was identified as 55-year-old Rajendra's son Raghuveer Singh. He has been shot three times. Among those injured are Rajendra's wife Ratan Kumari (43), sons Amit (21) and Mayank (8), besides neighboring Kuldeep. The woman Ratani and her son Amit have received two bullets each. Mayank is shot in the leg. As soon as the information was received, several teams of police reached for investigation. It is told that the attacker has fired 8-10 rounds. Five shells have been recovered from the spot. The police have registered a case on the statement of Ratan Kumari, the injured wife of the deceased Rajendra.Ratan Kumari told that his brother-in-law Vijay did the attack. He lives in their neighborhood and works as a building material supply. They were having dinner at 10:30 on Monday night. Vijay came drunk and started abusing. He closed the gate. He jumped over the gate and came inside and opened fire on them. According to the FIR, the attacker first shot his brother Rajendra. Then to his wife and then to Rajendra's two sons. When Amit's friend Kuldeep, who lives in the neighborhood, came to the rescue, Vijay opened fire on him too.DSP Arvind Dahiya said that the condition of the four injured is out of danger at present. Police say that the reason for the fight is not yet clear. Is being investigated. It is discussed that there is a dispute going on between the families of both the brothers over the land for a long time. It is being said that there was a quarrel over the will. The search is on for the attacker.
