CAT National President B.C. Bhartia said that traders can offer offers like "buy one, get one" or special Diwali discounts. Through these offers, traders would like to take advantage of the heavy rush of Diwali.Security and order plansIn view of the rush during Diwali, traders have requested the police and local administration to make special arrangements for security and traffic control. Apart from this, the trade associations are also planning to deploy additional private security guards to ensure the safety of buyers and traders.Competing with e-commercePraveen Khandelwal also said that the markets in Delhi and across India are all set for Diwali and they are actively implementing new strategies to face the challenges posed by e-commerce.
