India celebrates 73rd Republic Day:Today the country is celebrating its 73rd Republic Day. Preparations are complete for the ceremony in Delhi. This time there have been some innovations and changes in the celebration of Republic Day. This time the parade and the pride saga of the country's republic will look even more spectacular than before.

Grand celebration of republic day

During the celebration of Republic Day, a glimpse of Virat Bharat will be seen on the Rajpath. Equipped with the military might of the new India, this ceremony will get a glimpse of cultural diversity.

This year, in view of the fog, the parade and flypast demonstration will start half an hour late i.e. at 10:30 am on the Rajpath. Every year this program used to start at 10 am. Similarly, no foreign chief guest has been invited in this year 2022 as well, like last time due to Corona epidemic.

Highlights of the parade

For the first time in this event, a grand fly-past of 75 aircraft of the Indian Air Force will be done, while 480 contestants selected through a competitive process will give cultural performances. 10 large LED screens have been installed at a distance of every 75 meters to show the program to the people sitting far away at the venue.

  • 25 tableaux will be seen on Rajpath: 12 state, 9 central ministries, 2 DRDO, one tableau each from Air Force and Navy.
  • During the parade, CRPF, SSB personnel will show their bravery, Delhi Police, NCC squad will also be involved in the march.
  • On the occasion of Republic Day, 75 aircraft of Air Force, Navy and Army will participate in the grand flypast.
  • 17 Jaguar fighters will take part in the Republic Day organized in the 75th year of independence. The shape of '75' will be made just above the Rajpath.
Viewership decreased

Only adults who have received both doses of the vaccine in the parade, while children aged 15 years and above who have received one dose will be allowed entry. Due to Corona, limiting the number of spectators, only 5 to 8 thousand spectators have been allowed to attend this time. Whereas last year 25 thousand people saw the parade.

Parade route shortened

This time the parade route has also been shortened. Earlier the route used to be 8.3 Km, it has been reduced to 3.3 Km. Despite the 5 km route being short, the tableaux will end only after going to the Red Fort.

Inviting those who never called

The special thing is that this time in this national function special arrangements have been made for those sections of the society, who usually do not get to see the parade. Certain sections of auto-rickshaw drivers, workers, sanitation workers and front line health workers have been invited to witness the 'Beating the Retreat' ceremony along with the Republic Day parade.

Main attractions on Rajpath

Weapons and equipment used in the Indo-Pakistani wars of 1965 and 1971 will be shown. Similarly, the old armored vehicles and artillery will be a symbol of the wars fought by the Indian Army in the last decades. New things to replace old equipment, weapons and technology will also be displayed.

That is, overall it can be said that this time the parade will be a unique confluence of the celebration of the Republic and the nectar festival of freedom started by the government of PM Narendra Modi.
